A fire escape for the fire brigade
Stefan Meißner is a master metal worker and owner of a family-run locksmith’s shop in Wolfenbüttel. He has been working with TENADO software for more than 30 years, so he has been with TENADO for as long as it has existed. The fire escape at the building of the voluntary fire brigade in Wolfenbüttel was a special assignment for him. The size, complexity and looks have made the construction something of a showpiece for him.

The demands on the fire escape: Stable, attractive, functional and of course conforming to standards
The fire escape for the fire brigade in Wolfenbüttel was a special assignment for Stefan Meißner. Eight meters high, six meters wide and three meters deep, mounted on a brick wall with an emergency exit on the top floor. The construction consists of a particularly large number of individual parts, assembly alone took about a week. A greening trellis, which is attached over the entire surface, ensures a more beautiful appearance. The stairs almost disappear behind it. The construction of the elements took the team about two weeks, for the drawing alone Stefan Meißner needed about 4 days.

Almost none of his productions can do without technical drawings. After the order has been received and the first measurements have been taken, the master metalworker usually draws the desired object directly in TENADO METALL 3D . If the customer is satisfied, he can immediately order the right material thanks to the practical evaluation with the parts lists.
Stefan Meißner is also impressed by the library in TENADO METALL 3D . He often worked with fragments for the fire brigade commission. He designed certain construction elements himself and stored them in the library. In this way, he was able to access the appropriate component at any time.

Stefan Meißner has been working with metal since 1982. From training in his own company to becoming a master craftsman and taking over the company from his father – the master metalworker is deeply rooted in his own company. The creative work and the challenge of fulfilling every customer request are what drive him. He used TENADO software to draw his masterpiece, a 3-roller bending machine.

Stefan Meißner’s company can look back on more than 50 years of company history. The eight employees combine craftsmanship with the latest production methods and draw all constructions with TENADO METALL 3D . From balcony railings, stair railings made of steel or stainless steel, entrance canopies, fences and gate systems to window grilles or carports – the clients are private and business customers. The company has always been in family hands. Master metalworker Stefan Meißner took it over from his father in 1994 and has been working in the company himself since 1982.
